Who is responsible?
Trending.tg is an independent Telegram discovery service. The operator is referred to in this notice as “Trending.tg”. Use our contact form for privacy questions and to request the operator's formal legal information. The operator's full legal identity and contact address must be confirmed and published before relying on this as a final jurisdiction-specific legal notice.
Information we use
- Identity and authentication: where you choose to log in, your Telegram identifier, name, username and accessible profile image, or your verified email and session credentials.
- Projects: public Telegram links, account names, descriptions, public audience figures, category, submissions, listing changes and approvals.
- Votes and preferences: selected emoji reaction, saved items, theme preference and limited identifiers used to prevent duplicate voting or abuse.
- Payments: applicable invoice and transaction records, currency, amount and order status. Never send us wallet keys or passwords.
- Safety: abuse reports, appeals, moderation records and support messages.
- Technical information: limited server logs, network information, security events and request timestamps.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use this information to provide our service and honour submitted orders (contract), protect people and detect fraud (legitimate interests), handle requests and comply with legal obligations, and send optional communications only with an appropriate lawful basis, including consent where required.
Telegram and third parties
We use publicly available Telegram profile information to make directory pages and avoid unnecessary repeated requests. Telegram itself controls its own services. External Telegram links, hosting, payment and email providers may process data under their own notices. A listing does not mean that its owner endorses Trending.tg.
Retention
We retain records only as long as required for account operation, fraud prevention, requests, payments, dispute handling or legal duties. Session and device identifiers may have shorter lifetimes. Specific operational retention periods must be verified against the live configuration before final legal sign-off.
Your rights
Depending on your location you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where consent is used. Send a privacy request; we may ask for proof that you control the relevant account. You may also contact your data-protection authority.
Security, children and transfers
We use access controls and appropriate technical measures but cannot guarantee perfect security. Information may be processed where our suppliers operate subject to applicable transfer safeguards. The service is not intended for people below their jurisdiction's applicable digital-consent age.
